Global Compact – Brazil

We became signatories of the Global Compact, an initiative promoted by the UN to guide the strategic incorporation of ten universal principles regarding human rights, proper working conditions, the environment and the fight against corruption. As participants in this action, we are committed to integrating the 10 Principles and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into our corporate culture and strategy.

Brazil Coalition

We also became members of the Brazil Climate, Forests and Agriculture Coalition, a multi-sector movement aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting the low-carbon economy.

Cebds

We also joined the network of the Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), which aims to promote the sustainability concept into corporate ecosystems.

PCI Strategy

Our actions are in line with the PCI (Produce, Conserve and Include) Strategy, launched at the Climate Convention (COP 21) in Paris in December 2015, aimed at raising funds for the state of Mato Grosso to expand and increase the efficiency of agricultural and forestry production, conserve remnants of native vegetation, recompose environmental liabilities and promote the socioeconomic inclusion of family farming, generating a reduction in emissions and carbon sequestration of up to 6 million tCO2e by controlling deforestation, and developing a low carbon economy. In 2020, we became members of the PCI Sorriso Program committee, an initiative to implement the PCI strategy in the Sorriso region.

Ethos

We are associated with the Ethos Institute for Business and Social Responsibility, an Oscip whose mission is to mobilize, raise awareness and help companies manage their businesses in a socially responsible manner, making them partners in building a just and sustainable society.

Rede de Investidores Sociais de Mato Grosso (RIS)

We are part of the Mato Grosso Social Investors Network (RIS), whose mission is to expand the impact and results of philanthropic actions and social investment in Mato Grosso through collective and coordinated action by social investors, generating measurable and permanent benefits for the region.
