FS had important achievements in the 20/21 crop year.
Our Sorriso unit began to fully operate, positioning us as the fourth largest ethanol producer in Brazil, and we achieved the A1 score in the ESG rating by Vigeo Eiris, an affiliate of Moody’s, with the best evaluation in our sector (Food Emerging Markets).
This reinforced the importance of formalizing our 2030 commitments with society, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. In addition to consistent results, the inauguration of a new production unit and the launch of a new brand, FS reaffirmed its commitment to society and the environment, acting with transparency, ethics and sustainability in all its businesses. With the objective of providing information on our operational, financial and socio-environmental results, we prepared the first edition of the FS Sustainability Report, which, from now on, shall be disclosed annually.
